Learn about this free recruiting resource for federal employers.
The Workforce Recruitment Program for College Students with Disabilities (WRP) is a free resource that connects federal agencies nationwide with qualified job candidates for temporary or permanent positions in a variety of fields. Applicants are highly motivated post-secondary students and recent graduates with disabilities who are eager to prove their abilities in the workforce.
Through the WRP, federal sector employers have:
- Access to candidates across the nation.
- Ability to source candidates who are veterans.
- Pre-screened job candidates.
- Flexibility in hiring for summer internships or permanent positions.
Federal sector employers may search for WRP candidates using www.WRP.gov.
It is important to note that when considering WRP students for internships or permanent positions, federal sector employers should conduct the application and interview process according to their usual recruitment, hiring and on-boarding procedures. There is no post-employment support provided to the employer or the employee.
